Every person, place, or idea has a story. This one started in 2008 but took seven years to coalesce into the idea that became Xmetryx. In between, we weathered the financial crisis, several personal crises, and then had the good fortune to start over in one of the most dynamic cities in the world—Singapore.
Xmetryx emerged from our experiences, and the voices of the thousands of employees encountered through studies and research, formal and informal discussions, and direct conversations with hundreds of team leaders. Our 'aha' came as we heard stories of the joys of people being part of an extraordinary team and the pain of being on too many mediocre or dysfunctional ones. Those stories inspired us to turn our energies to impacting lives at work by helping people build healthy, trusting relationships on and across teams.
By 2016, we had prototyped and tested our idea with team leaders from around the world. Their feedback convinced us that we were on the right path, and we moved ahead with investing in the development of the Xmetryx platform. As we approached 2019, success with beta customers like HP and NicePak showed us that Xmetryx was having a positive impact on team performance and people's wellbeing. We decided that it was time to make the leap and return to the US to launch Xmetryx. The rest of the story is a work in progress.
Our passion is ensuring that everyone – especially women and minorities – has greater voice and psychological safety at work. Our mission is to help develop extraordinary leaders by providing tools to forge the strong, trusting relationships that lie at the heart of exceptional team performance and greater individual wellbeing.
You don’t have to imagine a world in which people wake up inspired, have a great day working with great people delivering amazing results, and return home fulfilled.
With Xmetryx, you live it.

Elena excels at helping companies create products that are viable, valuable, and lovable. Her expertise is working across development, design, and business strategy to help organizations take their products to the next level. She turns customer and market insights into opportunities and brings products and services to life based on that vision.
A cross-functional leader who considers the customer at every stage of product development Elena is fearless in asking, “Are we building what matters?” She has more than 15 years of experience leading hybrid and remote product, technical service, and development teams in B2B software and services.
In 2014, Elena began working on a new approach to understanding customer experiences by measuring and tracking how people feel about an experience with a product or service versus their expectations of those experiences. She validated the idea through existing research, prototyped the concept, and began alpha testing. The substantial evidence of the approach's effectiveness also brought a change in focus towards impacting lives at work by helping people build healthy, trusting relationships on and across teams. In 2019, Elena co-founded Xmetryx, Inc. with a mission to make the world better for everyone at work.
